1. Details:
The details on the listing should cover more than price and number of rooms. Does it mention the square meter and size, or community facilities and amenities? These are important details that you should look for in a listing.
2. The amenities:
In addition to a detailed list of amenities of the unit itself, which include furnishings, appliances and more, does the listing go into details of the amenities provided? Walk-in wardrobes, balconies… this information should also be provided. Shared amenities should also be mentioned here – pool, gym, parking and storage…
3. Rules:
Does the building or community have specific rules? Are they mentioned in the details? This can cover anything from pets allowed to noise rules, visitors, etc.… It should also clearly cove the terms of the lease and its length.
4. Price:
The price of the unit will clearly be shown on all listings, but are other costs that might not be included in the monthly rent also mentioned? Utilities, deposits, community fees or parking dues should be mentioned if they apply to the property.
5. Photos:
This is quite possibly the most important aspect of any listing. The photos that accompany the listing is a first indication of not only what the property has to offer, but is also an indication of the company or agent you will be dealing with. Photos should be clear, of high quality and showcase the details of the unit.
