We love your little furry friends as much as you do, and we also understand that they need a lot of care and attention. And while you can virtually own a pet anywhere in Qatar, here is a list of the best areas to live with pets in Qatar
- The Pearl
The man-made island is a haven for pets, especially dogs. There are a number of areas where you can walk your dog, and you will also have a chance to interact with other pet owners and socialize your pets as well. Porto Arabia and Qanat Quartier are the most popular choices for living with pets.

- West Bay Lagoon
The serenity of this area is not lost on even your four legged friends. The calmness is pet-proof, especially for those animals who could be scared of loud noises. If you’re lucky enough to be living in beach-front property, then your pets will also enjoy the sand and the sea.

- West Bay:
Although you might think that the city’s centre is not pet-friendly, there is (surprisingly) a high number of pets that share their homes with their owners. The ins and outs between the towering buildings are best for walking your dogs, and those stay at home cats will be more than impressed with the view.

Expert Tip:
While some landlords and building managers will clearly state on the contract that pets are/are not allowed, some completely skip that part.
If you intend to move with a pet, make sure that your lease agreement clearly mentions that pets are allowed, to ensure that no issues arise as a result of that.
